I can not get anyone on the phone. It defaults to voice mail all the time. I left a message, and no one returns my call.
And that is exactly what we will be doing.
Three weeks later, I get a co-pay bill for $20. I called the office to see what it is that we could've possibly incurred a co-pay for, considering that the date in question was his well check. I am informed, that she billed herself as having seen him for a sick visit, in addition to his well check...
Ridiculous customer support.
This doctor did absolutely nothing in addition to the regular well check visit, she did not earn herself an additional $165 billed service. I think it's disgusting that she build herself for a sick visit, when that was not why we were there, when he was showing no symptoms of being sick, and that she did nothing outside of the scope of a well check to treat him for any kind of sickness.
My kids love their Dr. Dr Crawley is so kind and gentle with my daughters always had a experience with all the nurses and Dr.s. I would highly recommend Pediatric Health care Associates.
Horrible service from the schedulers! No compassion whatsoever for the children the serving! It’s honestly very sad to see how the practice has deteriorated over the years!
I have been bringing my daughter here for 15 years without issues until recently. The list of pediatricians at PHCA are excellent and we've seen many over the years. However, the schedulers and office staff could benefit from some customer service training. The nurses in the Peabody office have sub par phone etiquette and seem to always have an attitude when answering/returning calls which makes things difficult especially when trying to schedule care for a sick child.
When I called, I was told that was the "policy," however, I'm unable to see that policy anywhere in writing. In addition, I grew up in a family of physicians, and each physician in my family I spoke to is appalled that this doctors office would play this kind of trickery on it's patients... as my sister put it best, "she didn't get into the field of medicine to heckle patience, and nickel and dime them every opportunity they got. Clearly, this is what this doctors office has done, and you should find another pediatrician."
We saw Elizabeth McKeen for my son's well-check, as his regular pediatrician wasn't available, and is never available... she asked my three-year-old son how he was, and he said, "my throat hurts..." I verbalize that "he's been fine," and that this is news to me. Within the course of his well visit, she looked in his throat as part of his regular check-up, didn't notice anything, and we moved on...
