Alrighty so I used to go to the YMCA for my after school program back in 4th grade and it was terrible. The counsellors pick favorites. And when they pick favorites the favorite kids or whatever are bullying you and every counselor will stay on the bullies side because there there favorites. It's just a horrible place don't send your kids there it isn't worth the time/money
This is the best place for all ages and all abilities. My mum is a stroke survivor and enrolled in the Partnership Program. If your loved one is motivated & able to progress but insurance no longer covers PT & typical personal training is not appropriate, consider the Partnership Program. The Y shares your dedication to returning to an active lifestyle with compassion and professionalism PLUS have the equipment to support your goals.
It's a beautiful facility but so often overcrowded and hard to find parking. I liked going here but found too many people (especially kids) running around areas where I just wanted to get in a work out and be left alone.
dont go to the summer camp it sucks and the last day of there summer camp you/your child will probabley not get camper of the summer even if they were good or nice all summer they always choose the meanest child for it and the after school is bad cause there are mean counslers/kids so dont take your child to any of them and they seprate you from your kids brother/sister Btw.They have bullies in the afterschool dont bring your kid there or else they will get bullyed. The afterschool will ruin your kids life.At first in 2015-2016 the OST program was good no kids got bullied and the camp in 2014 2015 2016 was great the OST program .2016-2017 was ehh ok.2017-2018 is the worst! The counselors are strict. The new strict rule for vacation says "If it is above 32 degress we will go outside''More like "WE WANT YOU TO NOT GO OUTSIDE BECAUSE ITS BORING XDDDDDDDDDDDDD."The ost program went downhill fast.I am being as honest as I can be.I hope the vacation is not bad.The only reason I go there is because I am forced to.Hopefully the ost program improves.
Amazing facility and awesome staff! My family and I have been going here for years and there is truly something for everyone. My husband works out on the fitness floor which is huge with top of the line equipment. I take exercise classes in the beautiful studios lined with windows. The pool is one of the best I've ever seen and my kids love taking swim lessons there with the awesome instructors. We're very happy at the Torigian YMCA!
