I noticed an immediate increase in my efficiency. I was not able to tell the difference so much by just sitting on the bike but riding it was different. I had about a 1-2 mph increase in my speed. I’m sure this will increase as I get more fitness in.
I hope to continue to ride and find use for the credit offered with the fitting. The staff there is very friendly too. A great place to look at the new bike tech and it was great to chat with Mike about bikes.
I came here specifically knowing that I wanted to have the best guys fit me for my new road bike. Everyone I encountered, from the beginning all the way until I had my new bike in my hands, was fantastic. Dean, who fit me for my bike, was very knowledgeable in every question we had. Totally happy with my Felt B 14. Mike M. took a lot of time with me, as being relatively new to triathlon, I had many questions about purchasing a new bike. He was patient, understanding, and really was concerned as to what I was looking for. I didn't feel any pressure as to make the sale either, which I appreciated. The bike fitting was a great experience. Dean spent a lot of time and I feel like the bike is where it needs to be. Fit Werx does a great job from start to finish. I highly recommend this shop to any rider as it will benefit the beginner rider as well as the experienced.
I found out about Fit Werx while visiting family in Massachusetts. As a new rider I wanted to make sure my bike was set up properly and I didn't have the confidence that my local bike shop had the same level of expertise in bike fitting. In fact, after scheduling the bike fitting (but before the actual fitting) I strained my IT band.
I had a fitting with Mike on 9/20. This was a great first step in getting back into cycling. The fitting took the better part of an afternoon and was very thorough. Mike took mesurements and videos, he looked closely at my existing fit, plugged it into their system and computed an optimal fit. He then adjusted my bike to that. He was even able to work with my old bike (1982 Myata 912) to fit me better.
